Tickets are now Live for the Online Conference!
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the events industry has been hit hard, and one of the major things that we were hearing was that people needed help and advice. Therefore, we decided we wanted to do our part so that those working in events could come together to share ideas, knowledge and discuss their problems with people who knew their industry. So, during this crisis, we set up the LNP Sound Event Forum on Facebook.
We have over 300 members worldwide, with new members joining every day. The forum serves as a place for people to share tips, post government advice on funding and support for businesses, as well as articles updating people on changes in events and venues during the pandemic. As well as this, we have weekly Zoom calls on a Friday afternoon with guest speakers who share their knowledge and allows everyone to have an open discussion about what they have been dealing with and to talk about the potential solutions. We’ve had speakers talking about the new normal, how to effectively use social media, how to support your business, managing procrastination and how to be visible as a business. These calls are all recorded and posted back onto the forum so that members who have missed the meetings can still access the information shared.
Now, thanks to the support from our members, we are now going to run our first online conference, taking place on Saturday the 26th September between 9:30am and 5:30pm. We have industry leading guest speakers, including Brad Burton, Neil Thompson, Ninder Johal, and Sam Carrington. We also have two Q&A panels, and a special VR networking lunch event.
