Haden Hill 60's day a Massive Success
On Sunday 23rd August 2009 LNP sound was involved for the 5th year running in the Haden Hill open and carnival Day. This years theme was the 1960's and there was an array of memorabilia and fashion items from that era. As well as fun games for all the family and one of the biggest displays of Mods and scooters to hit the local area there was a number of live acts performing including: Smashed Box who performed hits by the Kinks & The Who as well as the Krystalletts who performed an hours worth of 60's hits that attracted one of the largest crowds this event has seen. Helping along with proceedings was Stuart Horley from phase one Disco who was taking requests and spinning the discs for the rest of the day.
Over the 4 hours that the event ran for over 1000 people came to the museum and Sandwell council have deemed this to be one of the most successful events this year.
We look forward to seeing what theme we have to work with next year.
