The Subteraneans
The Sub’s were formed in 1998 by guitarist, Mark Roberts, Mark has appeared on the Chris Evans Radio 1 Breakfast Show, TFI Friday, and played at the Glastonbury & Phoenix festivals in 1997.
Vocals are delivered by Tony Dangerfield, a singer renowned for his vocal talents. Tony fronted the respected Wonderland and has also worked with friends like Ocean Colour Scene.
Joining Mark on Guitar is Anthony Harty, former bass player with Paul Weller’s Style Council. More recently, Anthony played guitar on the Grammy award-wining album: “Jamaican E.T.” by Lee “Scratch” Perry.
Tony and bass guitarist Kevin Lomas, have shared the same stage many times, notably gaining a residence at London’s famous Marquee Club, with Wonderland. Kevin has also performed with artist including Roy Wood, the 2Tone Collective and Jeff Turton of the Rocking Berries.
Drummer, Steve Tombs, has worked with all the others at some stage, sharing the stage with Mark at the Glastonbury & Phoenix festivals.
