Groovy Nights are a self contained partytime 70's to Present Day Band - All styles of music are catered for such as Jazz, Pop, Old Time Dancing, Ballroom Dancing & Latin.
GROOVY NIGHTS are a lively and classy show band consisting of Lead Female and Male Vocals, piano/keyboard and bass guitar.
GROOVY NIGHTS perform a variety of popular songs ranging from 70's disco to current chart hits, suitable for events of any size and any location.
GROOVY NIGHTS are flexible and are able to appear as a larger outfit by adding live drums, brass section, soloists, etc. All to suit the bookers requirements.
GROOVY NIGHTS perform live to a very high standard, utilising pre-programmed midi discus to incorporate drum tracks.
GROOVY NIGHTS are gaining a reputation for their quality, music and sheer entertainment value.
GAYNOR - Lead Vocals
Gaynor has worked in her own right and with many of the UK's top performers on stage, radio and TV. Also as the supporting artist to The American Four Tops and a very successful Caribbean Cruise contract for P & O.
She has a dynamic personality and entertains with versatility rarely matched.
LISA - Piano/Keys/Backing Vocals
Lisa is a talented and accomplished player with a unique "feel", who really has "Done it all". From working at the palladium with Chubby Brown, Ronnie Scots with Roy Hemmings of the Drifters to Cruise Ships and Summer Seasons.
She has also been a Musical Director for many top-touring shows including The Jackie Wilson Story and The American Four Tops.
MARK - Bass Guitar/Lead Vocals and Backing Vocals
Mark has worked worldwide as a gigging session player with radio and TV performances. He has recently performed with members of Wings, Kylie, Hearsay and Honey2. He has also been an accomplished Musical Director for touring shows.
Mark is a valuable addition to this talented band.
A Demo CD can be sent on request and options for a disco or Gaynor to perform as a solo act can also be arranged.
