The Little Big Band Quintet
This is the perfect band to bring your corporate function, party or wedding day to an exciting climax, sending your guests home happy after a great night out.
The band is run by Chris Thompson and Anna Brooks, professional musicians trained at Birmingham Conservatoire, together with other top-line musicians from the Birmingham area. The line-up of vocals, saxophone, backing vocals, two keyboards, bass and drums allows the band to produce a full and authentic sound covering classic tunes from the 1940�s through to the present day.
The band are able to cover many and varied styles of music as requested, and are almost always able to provide the bride and groom�s choice of first dance.
The Little Big Band Quartet
The ideal line-up for a relaxed and sophisticated evening. Led by the wonderful saxophone sounds of Anna Brooks on alto and tenor, the band can give you mellow and cool jazz during the meal and can wind up the tempo later with more funky jazz numbers and classic pop tunes from the quintet repertoire. The line-up of this band is saxes, keyboard, bass and drums.
The Little Big Band Duo and Trio
The Duo (sax and keyboard) or Trio (sax, keyboard and bass) are perfectly suited to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere at any special meal or occasion. Usually playing mellow, cool and funky jazz, these two line-ups can also cover certain classic pop tunes on request, such as those of Carole King, Roberta Flack or Stevie Wonder.
